The Yunnabox is a Yoni Steam stool for women for performing steam baths (vaginal steaming, Yoni Steaming). It is high-quality, aesthetic and flatters the skin with its velvety-soft surface. With the Yunna fir box, every Yoni Steam session becomes a celebration!
Wooden cubes
The basic material for the approximately 33 Centimeter high, wide and deep cube is the wood of the Allgäu silver fir. It is dense and elegant and is also used for upscale interior design. Our wood comes from the forests of our families and neighbours in the Allgäu and was dried and processed here on site. Everything from a single source - it couldn't be more regional!
The Yunna fir box brings out the character of the silver fir particularly beautifully: the five sides are first created in a complex hand-crafted process. Before they are put together, they receive their first polish. In the course of processing, at least four more sanding steps follow, with increasingly finer grains. This creates the velvety-soft, skin-flattering surface that our customers love so much.
Opening
The opening on the seat is around 13 Centimeters in diameter and is hard to beat in terms of its simple beauty. The shape and size were developed and optimized specifically for Yoni Steaming. The opening provides exactly the right amount of steam at exactly the right temperature at exactly the right distance from the herbal infusion. And that's not all: Because it tapers slightly towards the back, both ischial tuberosities can rest on the wood during steaming. This enables something that is not a given in many Yoni Steam Saunas: you sit comfortably.
Surface finishing
If desired, we can also refine the surface of your Yunna fir box with a high-quality, organic wood preservative after the five sanding steps. It consists of bearberry wax, beeswax and linseed oil. Our natural oil wax is chemical and solvent-free, emphasizes the beauty of the wood and protects it from moisture and dirt. Oh yes, and: it smells wonderful!
Alternatively, for particularly intensive use, frequent transport and/or high hygiene standards, we offer you a coating with emission-free clear varnish. This is saliva and sweat-proof and meets the high standards that wooden toys for children must meet (DIN 53160-1/2). You can find out more about the different surface design options below
Unique
Each Yunnabox is unique with its very own character. No two Yunna boxes are the same, just as no two pieces of wood are the same with their grains and structures. There is a number inside the box, on the back wall above the power cable opening. It tells you how many Yunnaboxes you have ever built.

In addition to the use of local wood and a hand-made process that gives each step the time it needs, perhaps most importantly: our aim to create products that make our customers happy.     After five sanding steps, the wood remains as it is: pure and raw. We recommend this option if you want your Yoni Steam Sauna to be as natural as possible and you don't mind if the surface changes over time. Wood is a living raw material that reacts to light and moisture, for example by darkening (in individual areas). The good news is: You can always return to its original state by rubbing your Yoni Steam Sauna with very fine sandpaper (400 grit).

    Natural oil wax
    If desired, we can refine your Yoni Steam Sauna with a high-quality, organic wood preservative. It consists of bearberry wax, beeswax and linseed oil. Our oil wax is chemical and solvent-free, emphasizes the natural beauty of the wood and protects it from moisture and dirt.

    Emission-free clear coat
    Your Yoni Steam Sauna receives the most reliable protection by coating it with emission-free clear varnish. The paint we use is saliva and sweat-proof and meets the high standards that wooden toys for children must meet (DIN 53160-1/2). Emission-free clear varnish offers excellent protection, but leaves the wood with its natural feel (no artificial varnish look or similar). We recommend this option for frequent use, frequent transport and/or high hygiene standards - for example if the box is used by many different women in midwifery practices or birthing centers (all of our rental boxes for midwifery practices are coated in this way). Medical cleaning and disinfectant products can also be used for cleaning.
